Universal Line

A universal line can be used for a variety of products. Typically, it consists of a cardfeeder, card, crosslapper, lap drafter, pre-needleloom, drafting unit and finish needleloom. The drafting unit after preneedling allows the precise adjustment of the strength ratio MD:CD.

All production lines can be equipped with the DILO Profiline System CV1 to obtain a high uniformity of the nonwoven product. For this purpose, the web is drafted variably before the crosslapper. The strips with lower weight are placed in the crosslapper exactly at the edges and thus compensate the subsequent thickening of the edges due to the shrinkage in the needlelooms. For uniform card feeding, a belt weighing system or a radiometric gauge is used after the feeder.
