Velour Needlelooms
The DI-LOUR Technology, which was invented by Dilo in 1983, allows the creation of a velour surface using preneedled felts. Fork and crown needles are used to push the fibre loops out of the preneedled material into a rotating brush apron.
In a DI-LOUR IV needleloom, it is possible to feed a second coloured needlefelt after the first structuring unit. Another alternative is to needle a carrier fabric for automotive moulded parts onto the velour needlefelt. DI-LOUR needlelooms are also offered with Hyperpunch drive for low-draft structuring to achieve best surface quality.
