Preneedleloom Rotac RT2
Highly voluminous webs must be compacted before feeding to the first needleloom. This can result in draft which is a negative for felt quality. For this reason, Dilo has increased its portfolio by the preneedleloom Rotac.
Two counter-rotating perforated rollers support the felt and transport it through the needling zone. During this transport, the felt is compacted by the gap between the two stitching cylinders and simultaneously needled. The needling zones are inside the perforated rollers. Needling is carried out alternately from both sides with the aid of the elliptical needle beam movement. This technique transports the needlefelt positively through the needling zone while it is held between the two stitching cylinders in order to prevent detrimental draft.
