Needlelooms for papermachine felts

Papermachine felts are subject to high demands regarding mass regularity, surface quality and strength. For this task, DILO has designed special pre- and finish needlelooms. PMA machines are especially suitable for needling small papermachine felts and transport aprons up to a width of 8.5 m. Needlelooms of this series can be equipped with a Hyperpunch or a H Alpha drive for low-draft needling. The needleloom OD-I P allows the preneedling of up to 16 m wide needlefelts. Finish needling and the needling into a carrier fabric are performed by the needleloom DI-LOOM PMF. The needlefelt can be needled from top, both-sides and twice each cycle. Hyperpunch drive and H-Alpha drive are also available in PMF needlelooms for a uniform surface.

  • Needle density: 6000 needles/m/board

DI-LOOM PMF:

  • Working width: max. 16000 mm
  • Needle density: max. 24000 needles/m of working width (8 needle boards)

OD-I SP:

  • Working width: max. 16.000 mm
  • Needle density: max. 2500 needles/m of working width
  • Elliptical needling by Hyperpunch drive or H-Alpha kinematics for gentle needling to give best surface quality
