Hyperpunch needlelooms
DI-LOOM H, DI-LOOM HV
Dilo invented the elliptical needle beam drive of the Hyperpunch needlelooms in the mid 1990s. In contrast to the conventionally used drive, the needles do not hinder the material movement during penetration but move horizontally in the material flow direction. This movement results in less draft within the needlefelt and thus can improve homogeneity and surface quality. In addition, the Hyperpunch drive allows notably higher production speed.
Finish needling with elliptical needle beam kinematics (Hyperpunch) is chosen when a high throughput speed is essential. For this application we offer the DI-LOOM HV model series with adjustable horizontal stroke or the HSC model series with a fixed horizontal stroke determined by process requirement and a maximum web throughput speed of up to 150 m/min.
DI-LOOM H alpha-V
We have developed this competitive alternative to the classical Hyperpunch drive, suitable for medium production speed and lightweight needle felts. In this machine, we also use the elliptical needle kinematics to reduce draft but the penetration of the needle is slightly inclined. Horizontal stroke of H Alpha machines can be adjusted from 0 – 8 mm at the operator desk.
